Shinjuku Incident

Went to see Shinjuku Incident lately.

My dear and I planned to watch it 3 times already but finally succeed last monday.

The first time we went, the whole tiong bahru complex had a power failure and we had to postpone our movie trip. What most funny is when we are queuing up for refund of tickets, some of the cinema patron bought popcorns for the show and ask the attendant if they can refund it.

The second time was when we were in Malaysia.

Finally, we manage to watch it when we were back in Singapore.

Overall, i think its a rather good movie. Rating about 8.5/10.

The plot is interesting, rather new topic and many characters in the show portray their role very well, especially Daniel Wu. From a coward nut seller to a Joker lookalike, his acting was excellent.

I would recommend you guys to watch it.

Next, I have been taking up salsa lesson lately with my dear. She organise such a good lesson on my birthday and we decided to take up the lesson.

The first few lesson was fun, you get to learn some basic moves, dance around with your partners and of course, there will be much more to come.

he's just not that into you

Just finish watching he's just not that into you yesterday with my dear.

It's i would guess, a not bad show having a galore of talented cast ranging from the cute Ginnifer Goodwin to the drop dead gorgeous Scarlett Johansson.

I have checked up Rotten Tomatoes and it had a rating of 42%, which means it is considered an OK show.

The show are the things that Hollywood does well -- a few good jokes, a lot of pleasant performances and two brief hours of entertainment and escape from reality. I would strongly recommend bring your girls for this show. This is one show that you have to watch with girls and not guys else i guess the feeling would be different.

Its light-hearted and would definitely brighten up your mood after the show. One funny instance is when Drew Barrymore says she would get rejected by 5 technology just because a guy did not contact her back. The 5 technology in this case was Facebook, My Space etc.

To some extend, from the show, do women really think a lot when a guy does something?

Lame idea from a movie

Was watching "Irreversible" the other day. It was such a unique and traumatic movie. Nice way of fliming the video for a simple storyline. The plot was nothing new but its how the movie was flim that is interesting. It is flim in a reverse-chronological order. Plus the gore, sadism and brutality, I would give it a 9/10 review.

It is a movie that seduces and repulses as it explores the merciless nature of fate. Powerful movie translate powerful message to the audience. The greatest irony was portrayed by the 3 main characters showing their charm, wits and their despair and weakness. Strong comparison.

There were a few strong scene like the 8 min long raping scene, the brutal fire extingushier fighting scene which lingers in my mind even after the movie end.

I came to ponder on a question. If ever 1 day, you encounter someone that threatens your life, would you follow his/her wish or resist to it.

In the movie, the female actor (Monica Bellucci) was brutally rape and abuse. For the fear of her death, she followed the rapist instruction. Under such fear, i believe everyone would sucuumb to the circumstances. Don't you?

I have ask 宝贝 what would she do. She told me she would listen to the attacker. If the attacker was handsome, she would be more then happy to..... lame.....

Hey girls, If ever you encounter this situation, I have some good idea to help you get out. Firstly, pretend to be greatly interested and enjoying the encounter, be calm, and you offer to help him to do "stuff", when you have the chance, attack him/her (guys, it happens too), bite his "di*k" or whatever. Give a good punch to his throat (apple especially). Focus on the vital points. It will cause him to blackout.

It might turn out useful one day, please remember. OK?

Things i have learn after the movie:
Always send your girlfriend or female friends home because you never know what will happen. very very important!

Burn After Reading

Burn After Reading

Just finish the movie. Not a bad movie.

Lame story line but cool acting from all actors.

I heard all the actors had a pay cut to be in this show.
Maybe its the appeal of the director?

Really cool acting from Brad Pitt as an idiot, morons.

A lot of f***, sh*t and morons in the show.

This show provide me a place to take a rest with my dear.
A rest from the work i am having.

I just love movies, it makes me not to think of the current situation.
